Form Research

Racing Post

There is not much to say about this site that has not already been said.

Any serious punter needs access so if you have not already, sign up and login here. .

Patternform

Patternform is one of our favourite racing websites.

It drastically speeds up the analysis of a race and is great at finding 'trend horses'.

For example, You can find out how a horse fares in small fields, large fields, after a long break or when returned quickly at the push of a button.

Patternform is free and no sign up is required. You can find it here.

At The Races

The At the races website gives the punter access to free video form, stable tours, Eyecatchers, speed ratings and more.

It also produces microsites packed with information for the big race meetings. Click here to check it out.

Sportinglife

The sporting life website is similar to the racing post, at the races and GG.com in that it offers standard racecards, previews and more.

The main thing that we use the sporting life for is the statistics.

The 'todays pointers' section gives punters a quick rundown of the hot jockeys & trainers, C&D winners, and horses wearing first time headgear, cheekpeices etc.

The 'stats' section allows punters to check for hot trainer & jockey combinations.

We use this section to find trainers that have come into form in the last 7 days, If found early enough they tend to be profitable to follow.

To enter the Sporting life site, click here. _________________________________________________________________

Raj Patel

Raj Has appeared on BBC TV on "The Money programme - battle of the bookies" where he appeared as an expert showing how it is possible to make money from the advent of Betting exchanges.

Raj Patel shares some of these methods via the tips and methods available from his website.

You can check it out below.

Horses to follow

Andrew Mount

Andrew Mount is the author of Raceform's Trend horses books.

Trend horses are horses that have shown strong patterns in their form (ie show their best form at a certain course, After a certain amount of time off, the course, In a certain feild size etc).

Apart from being a successful author, Andrew also writes a weekly column for gg.com, contributes to the spotlights for the Racing post, contributes to the raceform update, is an on course bookmaker and has his own website.

To check out Andrews free horses to follow, click here

Nick Mordin

Nick Mordin is the author of one of the most influential books in british horseracing "Betting for a living".

In this book, Nick introduced the average punter to things such as Speed ratings, the importance of pace, horse profiles & the importance of how a horse looks and acts on the course.

Nick has also written other sucessful books and has a weekly systems column in the Racing post weekender.

Nick's speed ratings are second to none and you can catch his horses to follow (and avoid) here. _________________________________________________________________

Trading

Racing Traders

This site has some great tips on thed do's and dont's of trading on Betfair.

It also has free demos videos showing how the experts make their trades.

The owner also shows how he turned £200 into £100,000 by trading on betfair.

You can check the site out here.

The Betfair secret

The Betfair secret is an E-book on trading strategies for betfair.

It also has a second section on laying horses not to place in certain races.

The author claims to be using these methods (obtained from a professional gambler) on a daily basis to profit and in our opinion, its well worth a read.

Bookshops

Our own bookstore is available here.

In the bookstore, you will find all the books you will ever need relating to horseracing and gambling in general.

Sportsworld publishing

Sportsworld Publishing is a specialist horse racing bookshop, you are unlikely to find their books on Amazon.

They sell a title called profiting from horse profiles which is a great read. It takes a similar approach to Andrew mount & his trend horses books.

They also sell a book called trainers4courses.

This also looks very interesting & is something I am looking to buy when I have the chance (if any readers have this, let me know what it is like via the contact form on the left).

It is no just a bookshop, they also sell horse racing systems & tipping services, check it out below.

Horse alerts

There is nothing worse than noting down a horse to follow and then realising that it won at a big price next time out (and you missed it).

In order to keep track of such horses and any other horses to follow, I suggest you use a 'horse alert' service.

I personally use GG.COM's free horse alert service.

Its free to sign up and if you opt to receive the E-mail alerts, they are sent free the evening before racing.

Click here to check it out.
